About the Company The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) offers a rare opportunity to work at the heart of Israel’s debt market. About the Role We are looking for a Senior Economist to join our Research Unit and take part in in-depth analysis of the local capital market — across issuances, debt structures, financial statements, and market-wide trends. This role provides a front-row seat to the Israeli debt market, combining hands-on analysis, market research, and exposure to trading, indices, and derivatives activity. Responsibilities * Analyzing financial statements of publicly traded companies. * Reviewing IPOs, debt issuances, structures, and repayment profiles. * Conducting debt-market and fixed income research at a market-wide level. * Working with large-scale economic and financial datasets used across TASE activities. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Required Skills * Strong understanding of capital markets, with a focus on the local debt market. * Background in debt / credit analysis from a consulting firm, rating agency, or financial institution — highly preferred. * Accounting background and/or a master’s degree in finance — an advantage. * Strong analytical and quantitative skills. * Advanced Excel capabilities. * Experience with SQL and Python — an advantage. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew and English. Preferred Skills * Background in debt / credit analysis from a consulting firm, rating agency, or financial institution — highly preferred. * Accounting background and/or a master’s degree in finance — an advantage. * Experience with SQL and Python — an advantage.
