Maintenance Engineer – Tel Yosef Dairy Overview The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for leading and managing all maintenance activities at the Tel Yosef Dairy, ensuring compliance with work plans, objectives, and operational targets as defined by the Operations Manager. This role includes managing the maintenance team, overseeing technical operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across production lines and processes. Key Responsibilities * Full management of site maintenance activities in line with annual work plans and objectives. * Direct management of the Maintenance Team Leader, mechanics, and electricians. * Plan, execute, and supervise all maintenance operations to ensure proper functioning of process equipment and supporting systems. * Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs and define inventory levels. * Lead and participate in engineering projects. * Manage and supervise contractors. * Oversee and control the maintenance budget. * Establish management routines and collaborate with other plant functions (Plant Engineer, Production, Logistics, Quality, Safety). * Build, approve, and implement annual maintenance plans. * Initiate and implement improvement activities in production lines and work processes. Qualifications & Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (B.Sc.) – mandatory. * Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing maintenance in a process manufacturing plant – mandatory. * Professional experience in maintenance systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated production lines – strong advantage. * High proficiency in English – mandatory. * At least 2 years’ experience in leading and managing teams – mandatory. * Strong technical English skills – mandatory. * Familiarity with electricity, control systems, electronics, or computing – significant advantage. * Strong organizational, coordination, and scheduling skills. * Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. * Willingness to work overtime as required.
