An international company operating in the Food & Beverage ingredients sector is currently recruiting a Customer Operations Specialist to support its English-speaking customer portfolio. The role sits at the intersection of customer service, sales support, and order management, ensuring a high level of service across the full order-to-cash cycle. This position works closely with Key Account Managers and regional commercial teams, acting as a key operational contact for customers. Key Responsibilities * Serve as the main point of contact for French-speaking customers, coordinating closely with sales and internal teams. * Manage customer orders end to end, from order entry through shipment and invoicing. * Validate customer data at order stage, including pricing, commercial terms, exceptions, and specific logistics requirements. * Handle customer and internal enquiries related to product availability, quality, substitutions, inventory levels, order status, pricing, billing, and invoicing. * Support the sales team with account-related operational issues, including carrier incidents and delivery constraints. * Address customer complaints promptly, ensuring appropriate follow-up and escalation where required. * Maintain accurate customer and account records to ensure efficient billing and documentation. * Ensure adherence to internal processes, policies, and compliance requirements. Eligibility Criteria * Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience. * At least 3 years’ experience in a customer service, customer operations, or sales support environment. * Fluent English is essential (written and spoken). Any additional European language is a plus. * Experience working with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ERP systems (i.e. SAP Business One). * Familiarity with import/export documentation is a plus. * Previous exposure to the food and beverage industry is advantageous.
