Administrative Coordinator National Center for High-Temperature Materials Characterization (THERIS) Company Description Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) is one of Israel’s leading research universities and a world leader in multiple fields. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position based in Beer-Sheva. The Administrative Coordinator will provide comprehensive administrative and logistical support to the Center’s management team and research staff. Responsibilities include: * Assisting with daily operations of the Center, including scheduling, correspondence, and travel coordination. * Managing communications with university departments, industry partners, and funding agencies. * Preparing budgets, financial reports, and procurement requests; following up on orders and payments. * Supporting grant submissions and research contracts, both in Israel and internationally. * Assisting with organization of scientific events, visits, and academic delegations. * Handling documentation, filing, and data management. * Supporting student and researcher activities, recruitment, and onboarding processes. * Providing logistical coordination for shipments, materials, and laboratory operations. * Participating in the organization of meetings, seminars, and conferences. * Managing additional duties as assigned by the Center’s management. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field. * Minimum two years of administrative experience, preferably in academic, scientific, or research environments. * Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills. * Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork abilities. * Proficiency in MS Office tools and university management systems. * Ability to manage multiple parallel tasks under tight deadlines. * Fluency in Hebrew and English (spoken and written). * High sense of responsibility, precision, and discretion.
