This role combines technical expertise with strong leadership, ensuring the company’s infrastructure, systems, and support processes run securely, efficiently, and reliab ly.The IT Manager will own all aspects of day to day IT operations from help desk and endpoint management to systems administration, security implementation, and IT strategy execution. This is a leadership position for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, driving operational excellence, and mentoring a growing technical te am. Key Responsibilit ies:Management and Leaders * hip-Lead and mentor the IT team, including full time and student memb * ers.Build and maintain a service oriented culture focused on reliability, security, and continuous improvem * ent.Define and track IT operational KPIs, SLAs, and process documentat * ion.Writing documentation and maintaining the team’s knowledge b * ase.Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth technology operations and compliance alignm * ent.Deal with Technical and managerial escalati ons. Hands-On Technical Operat * ions-Serve as the senior escalation point for technical incidents, outages, and escalat * ions.Manage and maintain company IT infrastructure, endpoints, and network environ * ment.Oversee user lifecycle management onboarding, offboarding, permissions, and access con * trol.Administer SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Atlassian, Slack and Hub * Spot.Deploy and manage MDM systems (Jamf, Intune) for endpoint compliance and secu * rity.Lead automation initiatives using scripting to * ols .Ensure system reliability, patch management, and IT asset trac * king.Maintain and enforce IT security standards and best pract ices. Requir * ements-5+ years of experience in IT operations or system administration, including 1+ years in a managerial or lea * d role.Strong technical knowledge across macOS, Windows, networking, and SaaS ecos * ystems.Proven experience managing MDM pla * tforms.Hands-on experience with Google Workspace and other identity/SaaS s * ystems.Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
