About TapOverdrive: TapOverdrive is a fast-growing SaaS platform focused on marketing automation and customer engagement for inventory-driven businesses — including automotive, RV, trailer, and powersports dealers. About the Role: We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Vice President of Sales to lead and expand our revenue engine. You’ll take over a small, motivated sales team and be responsible for building, scaling, and executing a high-performance sales strategy across both direct sales and channel partnerships. This is a critical leadership role reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with marketing, customer success, and product teams to drive growth across North America. What You’ll Do: * Own and evolve the sales strategy, pipeline development, and forecasting. * Manage and grow the sales team; recruit and onboard new high-performing reps. * Identify and execute channel partnerships with resellers, agencies, and platform partners. * Define quotas, KPIs, and compensation plans to align performance with company goals. * Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success to ensure alignment on messaging, product feedback, and customer outcomes. * Drive CRM and sales operations excellence. * Represent TapOverdrive at industry events, trade shows, and partner engagements. About You: * 7+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. * Proven success selling SaaS and/or AdTech solutions — preferably to SMBs or dealer groups. * Track record of building and scaling revenue teams in a startup or high-growth environment. * Strong understanding of channel sales dynamics and co-marketing initiatives. * Excellent communication and leadership skills — ability to inspire, coach, and execute. * Experience with verticals such as automotive, RVs, trailers, or other inventory-intensive markets is a major plus. This role can be remote, but we prefer candidates who can work hybrid from our San Jose, CA HQ for stronger team collaboration.
