R&D Israel HQ R&D The Strategic Buyer is responsible for all sourcing activities, aligning them with business objectives to optimize costs, quality, and supplier reliability. This role plays a critical part in developing and implementing procurement strategies that support innovation, efficiency, and long-term value for the organization. Role definition * Develop and execute procurement strategies to support organizational goals. * Source electronic and mechanical components and participate in the component selection process in collaboration with R&D. * Conduct market and supplier analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities * Identify and implement cost, quality, and delivery improvements. * Establish and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. * Lead supplier selection processes, including issuing bids, defining evaluation criteria, and selecting preferred suppliers. * Drive supply chain efficiency and excellence across procurement processes. * Lead commercial negotiations to secure favorable pricing, terms, and conditions. * Manage multi-year contract purchases, ensuring agreements are in place for efficient execution and optimal pricing. Requirements * Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in electronics manufacturing. * Proven experience in managing purchasing functions and supplier negotiations. * Strong negotiation skills.
