Insignito is a fast-growing startup in drone acoustics, combining deep physics with real-world deployment across software, algorithms, and hardware. Our solutions are already trusted by civilian and defense customers worldwide. We're hiring an R&D Engineer/Physicist to join both our Waveguide and Bladerunner product teams. If you enjoy working across physics, software, and real-world experimentation, this role is for you. *What you'll do:* Develop physics-based and numerical models (wave propagation, signal modeling, system optimization) Execute and analyze field experiments on complex systems Build and integrate solutions into Python-based systems and data pipelines Translate real-world findings into product features Work directly with customers, partners, and subcontractors *What we're looking for:* B.Sc. in Physics / Electrical Engineering / or related field
– required 3+ years of experience with Python
– required Experience running experiments on complex systems (industry experience preferred) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Technically driven, independent, and an excellent communicator Thrives in dynamic environments with varied, fast-moving work *Nice to have:* Hands-on field experience (beyond lab work) Familiarity with manufacturing processes Interest in drones / aerial systems We're looking for curious, hands-on engineers/physicists who enjoy working where physics meets code
