We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead core modernization initiatives that define how our R&D teams build, ship, and operate high-scale systems. You’ll tackle complex modernization challenges, including migrating legacy systems, scaling across multiple domains, and operating a large multi-account AWS environment. Responsibilities: * Design and evolve a multi-account AWS environment supporting real-time, consumer-facing workloads used daily by millions of users * Ensure scalability, reliability, security, observability, and cost efficiency across production systems * Lead Terraform standardization across R&D, building reusable modules, patterns, and governance * Lead CI/CD modernization initiatives, including transitions to new tools and delivery platforms * Design secure, company-wide CI/CD workflows enabling faster, safer, and more autonomous releases * Build tools, templates, and guardrails that increase developer autonomy and delivery velocity * Lead complex modernization projects involving large-scale systems, multiple domains. * Integrate AI-assisted tools to improve developer productivity. * Work cross-functionally to remove friction, streamline delivery pipelines, and influence engineering standards across teams. Requirements: * 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and operating production cloud environments at scale * Experience working across different cloud architectures, including microservices and serverless environments. * Strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, and modern CI/CD systems * Curiosity and hands-on experience with AI-assisted tools and modern engineering technologies * Experience driving standardization across multiple engineering teams * Broad understanding of distributed systems, networking, cloud security, and reliability * Scripting experience in Python and/or Bash for automation and tooling * Ability to influence engineering practices and lead complex modernization initiatives * Excellent collaboration and communication skills
