Our patented process combines advanced adsorbent materials and thermodynamic cycling to achieve high-efficiency abatement and solvent recovery with minimal energy input. We are now transitioning from lab prototype to pilot phase, scaling toward industrial deployment in collaboration with leading partners in the chemical, recycling, and semiconductor industries. What You’ll Do You will take a hybrid role combining materials R&D, experimental process design, and pilot validation, bridging the gap between adsorbent science and system engineering. 1. Adsorbent Development & Characterization * Develop, select, and evaluate adsorbent materials (Zeolites, Activated Carbons, MOFs, hybrid materials). * Characterize surface and structural properties (BET, TGA/DSC, FTIR, XRD, GC, breakthrough testing). * Assess adsorption capacity, kinetics, and regeneration performance under realistic VOC conditions. * Study thermal and pressure swing regeneration (TSA, VSA), humidity effects, and material stability. 2. Experimental Design & Process Development * Design and execute lab and pilot-scale adsorption/desorption experiments. * Operate and maintain experimental systems
– adsorption beds, gas loops, heat exchangers, compressors, flow measurement. * Perform mass and energy balances and calculate adsorption cycle efficiency. * Develop and apply DoE and statistical models to correlate material properties with system performance. 3. System Integration & Scale-Up * Support system assembly, piping, instrumentation, and troubleshooting. * Participate in pilot testing campaigns, data acquisition, and performance optimization. * Provide feedback on material selection and regeneration strategies for large-scale systems. 4. Data Analysis & Reporting * Process and interpret experimental data using Python. * Generate technical reports, test summaries, and presentations. * Contribute to intellectual property and documentation. Qualifications Education * M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or Chemistry * B.Sc. candidates with strong applied or hands-on experience will also be considered. Experience * 1–3 years of practical experience in adsorption/desorption, porous materials, or gas treatment systems. * Strong understanding of adsorption thermodynamics and regeneration mechanisms. * Hands-on experience operating lab or pilot-scale gas systems. * Proficiency with analytical methods (BET, TGA, GC, FTIR, XRD). * Experience with data analysis and modeling (Python or MATLAB). * Excellent English and technical communication skills. Bonus Points * Experience with VOC abatement, solvent recovery, or environmental systems. * Familiarity with SolidWorks or process simulation/flow diagram software. * Strong mechanical aptitude (BSP/NPT fittings, valves, tubing, instrumentation). * Team-oriented mindset with a mix of scientific curiosity and engineering practicality.
