Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Purchasing Manager to manage the Purchasing Department. The role includes managing strategic suppliers, overseeing budgets, and supporting various internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, service-oriented, possesses strong managerial skills, and is able to work effectively under pressure in a global, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: * Manage, mentor and develop the purchasing department, including workload planning, priority setting, performance management and professional growth. * Work closely with multiple internal stakeholders, including R&D, Engineering, Planning, IT, and other teams. * Lead a supplier strategy based on the company requirements * Manage and develop relationships with strategic suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and supply continuity. * Conduct and lead weekly procurement and cross-functional meetings. * Manage, monitor, and optimize procurement budgets. * Ensure effective risk management and contribute to the development of procurement strategies. * Maintain high levels of integrity, reliability, and professionalism. * Develop a LCR supply chain. * Bring to the table new and competitive suppliers for build to Spec items. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Law, or equivalent professional education. * Over 10 years of experience in global procurement, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. * Proven experience in a similar managerial role within a global company. Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus. * Strong analytical skills. * High attention to detail and systemic thinking with the ability to understand organizational needs. * Proactive, self-motivated, and demonstrates initiative. * Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively under pressure. * Fluent English, both written and spoken. * Experience with ERP or procurement systems (SAP – advantage). * Solid understanding of contracts, with strong skills in preparing presentations and Excel reports. * Service-oriented, curious, and quick learner. * Strong technical understanding.
