Control Commissioning Engineer
– come shape the future with us! Knapp is hiring PLC engineers to join our commissioning team, joining and shaping new projects from ground zero! Important information: this position includes a training period abroad (Europe/US), and then joining our new projects in Israel. Our mission is to provide our customers with the technologies they need to excel in their industry, with the latest in shuttle technology, AI-infused robotics, all- in one and more. Main tasks: * Independent project preparation * Preparing and carrying out switch cabinet tests, special machines tests and factory tests * Creating, maintaining and improving startup instructions, test protocols and checklists * Supporting the PLC development departments * Independent configuration, startup and test of the components at the customer * Coordinating and supporting tests of third parties and the customer * Carrying out measurements for quality assurance purposes * Direct contact, collaboration and partnership with the customer * Supporting the planning department in new developments * Assisting the startup phase and supporting the customer * Documentation and backup of the components put in operation * Carrying out on-site interventions Job requirements: * In-depth knowledge of Siemens control systems * Technical education (apprenticeship or technical college) * Excellent command of English – spoken and written. * Soft skills: ability to work under pressure, independency, willingness to learn and creativity. * Willingness to travel abroad for the training period.
