Nova’s CTO Group is looking for a Physicist with broad exposure to multiple technologies, strong expertise in experimental ultrafast optics, and knowledge of semiconductor process control and fabrication. As a New-Tech Physicist, you will conduct concept and feasibility research independently and in collaboration with external partners. Your work will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and integrating emerging technologies into Nova’s innovation pipeline. What you will be doing: * Lead and conduct early-stage research projects to explore, validate, and develop new technological concepts. * Identify emerging industry needs and scout, evaluate, and recommend disruptive technologies to address them. * Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including academia and industry, to drive feasibility studies and concept development. * Influence Nova’s strategic direction by introducing novel, high-impact ideas into the technology portfolio. Requirements: * Ph.D. (or M.Sc.) in Physics or a related engineering discipline. * Strong hands-on experience in experimental ultrafast optics (e.g., femtosecond lasers, OPOs, pump-probe experiments). * Proficiency in data analysis and algorithm development. * Experience in optical and mechanical system design (advantage). * Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and fab environments (advantage).
