A large, leading, and well‑established food manufacturing site in the Southern region is seeking an Operational Excellence Manager to join the site’s leadership team and drive impactful, organization‑wide improvement. This is a unique opportunity to lead operational excellence in a major process‑based manufacturing environment and influence the production of beloved food products found in households across Israel. What will you be doing? * Leading the Operational Excellence unit and driving performance improvement across the site. * Serving as the professional authority for OE leadership, implementation, and knowledge management. * Coaching, mentoring, and developing managers and employees to improve efficiency, production, service, safety, and quality. * Managing a team of OE leaders, including training, guidance, and people development. * Driving cross‑functional collaboration, overcoming resistance, and strengthening engagement and ownership of OE processes. * Leading OE methodologies: mapping, analyzing, and improving work processes; developing and implementing work standards. * Leading and implementing operational projects, including timeline, budget, and KPI management. * Embedding the OE culture and communicating achievements and success stories. What do you need to bring? * Bachelor’s degree – required (Industrial Engineering or a Master’s degree – an advantage). * At least 3 years of experience as an Operational Excellence Lead or Production Manager in a process‑based manufacturing environment – required. * Significant experience in operations within a manufacturing plant – a strong advantage. * Deep familiarity with production processes, shop‑floor operations, and performance improvement in an industrial environment – a major advantage. * Experience in matrix management and leading cross‑site projects – required. * Experience in change management and implementing LEAN methodologies – an advantage. * Experience in the food industry – an advantage. * High proficiency in Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint – required.
