– MalamTeam is hiring a Network and Communications Technician for a security organization in the Shfela region. Job Description: A security organization is looking for a Network and Communications professional for a field-based role, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of communication systems across the organization’s various sites. The role includes: * Physical travel to prisons and other remote/end sites * Installation of communication equipment, including switches, routers, end points, and infrastructure * Identifying and resolving field communication issues * Performing ongoing maintenance work as required This is a dynamic role that includes: * Frequent travel between sites * Independent field work * Providing rapid real-time response to communication issues The position also requires compliance with organizational procedures and standards, while maintaining high availability and a strong service orientation. Requirements: * Knowledge and experience in installing active communication equipment and passive infrastructure * Valid CCNA certification (CCNP certification preferred) * 2 years of experience in network management and support for communication systems * 2 years of experience troubleshooting LAN and WAN environments * Experience working with communication providers – advantage
