About Us At Mercurius Media Capital (MMC), we’re building a first dedicated media-for-equity venture capital firm in the U.S. at the intersection of media, venture capital, and consumer tech. We work with media houses, investors, and growth-stage companies to redefine how brand, capital, and scale come together. About the Role We’re seeking a highly motivated and media-savvy Media Planning and Brand Strategy manager to join our team. This role is critical in managing and executing brand campaigns across broadcast television and multi-platform media for MMC and its portfolio companies in the U.S. market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media planning with expertise in audience insights, media buying strategies, and campaign performance optimization. This individual will serve as a key liaison between clients, internal teams, and media partners, ensuring seamless execution from strategy to completion. Experience in media agencies or media companies specializing in U.S. broadcast and digital advertising is highly preferred. Report to: Head of Investments What You’ll Do
• Lead media planning and strategy development for brand campaigns, with a focus on broadcast television and integrated media solutions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships while understanding their business goals and media objectives.
• Develop and present strategic media plans, aligning with target audience insights, reach and frequency goals, and budget considerations.
• Oversee the execution of multi-channel media campaigns, ensuring optimal placement and performance across TV, digital, and cross-platform integrations.
• Work closely with media buying, sales, finance, and investor relations teams, ensuring campaign objectives are met and budgets are optimized.
• Evaluate campaign performance, leveraging audience measurement tools (e.g., Nielsen, ComScore, MRI-Simmons) and providing actionable insights.
• Monitor U.S. media trends and innovations in broadcast, CTV, and emerging media platforms to inform campaign strategies.
• Ensure all campaigns adhere to brand guidelines and compliance regulations.
• Proactively address any challenges in media execution and recommend optimizations to improve performance. What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Media Planning, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in media planning, strategy, and campaign management, with a strong focus on broadcast television.
• Proven success in client relationship management and media execution within the U.S. market.
• Experience working with a media agency or a media company specializing in television and cross-platform advertising.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with media measurement tools like Nielsen, ComScore, or MRI-Simmons.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
• Passion for media, audience trends, and the evolving U.S. broadcast and digital advertising landscape
