Euclid System Engineering Ltd. is a boutique engineering firm specializing in the development of advanced electromechanical systems. We emphasize engineering excellence, rapid development cycles, and high-quality solutions. We are looking for a hands-on R&D Team Leader to lead our core team. This role combines high-level project leadership, team management, and deep technical involvement in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Management * Lead the development team and take full responsibility for technical solutions and risk management. * Create and manage comprehensive work plans, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met. * Oversee the orderly hand-over and provide ongoing support to the Operations and Documentation departments. Team Leadership * Directly manage our internal development team, including mechanical and electronics designers. * Manage and collaborate with professional subcontractors based on project needs. * Monitor development status through status meetings, workload management, and rigorous output review. System Engineering * Serve as the company’s System Engineer, overseeing engineering methodologies. * Initiate complex tasks by either executing them hands-on or providing professional guidelines. * Define engineering requirements and customer interfaces (post-marketing stage). Independent Execution * Execute various technical tasks independently while simultaneously managing the team. * Demonstrate a high level of commitment, including work beyond standard hours to meet critical deadlines. Qualifications & Skills * Technical Depth: A genuine understanding of diverse technologies and development processes alongside strong management skills. * Leadership: Proven ability to motivate employees with a dedicated, "eye-level" management style and excellent interpersonal skills. * Drive for Results: Self-motivated with a sharp focus on delivering high-quality outputs. * End-to-End Execution: Ability to lead processes from inception (scratch) to final delivery. * Systemic View: A very broad systemic perspective.
