Maintenance Manager for automated systems – At KNAPP, you’re not just another cog in the machine! KNAPP Israel is hiring a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations for advanced automation systems in a cutting-edge robotic distribution center. Here, there are no small cogs – every person is critical to the system’s success. As a manager at KNAPP, you’ll have direct impact across multiple interfaces: managing the maintenance technician team (including recruitment, training, and professional development), providing technical support and maintaining ongoing communication with the customer, reporting to company leadership, and collaborating with global counterparts in Europe. What will it look like?
– Working in a dynamic and intensive 24/6 environment – high availability is required
– Responsibility for maintaining automated systems on the customer’s site while upholding high professional standards
– Leading and participating in cross-organizational processes, including continuous improvement and data analysis
– Professional and personal management of 20+ technicians, including team leaders
– Responsibility for implementation of quality and safety procedures on site What do you need to succeed?
– Proven experience managing maintenance of complex systems/machinery (experience in a logistics center, plants, etc.) – must
– Experience managing technical teams, including team leaders – must
– Education in electrical, mechanical, or electronic engineering/technology (engineer or practical engineer)
– A proactive mindset, initiative, and the ability to lead change and improvement processes
– Excellent command of English – speaking, reading, and writing
