Teaching & Research Lab Engineer | Department of Physics | Ben-Gurion University of the Negev The Department of Physics at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev is seeking a skilled and motivated Lab Engineer to join our team. This role involves developing and maintaining advanced laboratory systems, supporting academic and research staff, and guiding students in experimental work. Key Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and build electronic systems for teaching and research labs. * Maintain, operate, and repair lab instruments and electronic devices. * Provide technical support to faculty, researchers, and students. * Assist in experimental setup, data collection, and lab demonstrations. * Manage lab documentation, scheduling, and safety procedures. * Purchase and maintain laboratory equipment and inventory. Requirements: * B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (M.Sc. preferred). * At least 3 years of relevant experience. * Experience in analog and digital circuit design. * Hands-on experience with lab instruments (oscilloscopes, power supplies, controllers, PCB design, etc.). * Proficiency in English. * Advantage: familiarity with CAD tools such as Altium or Eagle.
