End-to-end responsibility for the company’s IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on systems administration: servers, virtualization, backups, access control, and system hardening. In parallel, ownership of core networking tasks: VLAN/VPN, routing and switching, monitoring and handling complex production incidents. The role requires substantial hands-on experience managing Linux servers, scripting and automation capabilities, and deep familiarity with DNS, RADIUS, and LDAP (directory and authentication services). Key Responsibilities * Windows Server environment management: Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, file services, and permissions. * Directory and authentication services management: LDAP, RADIUS, access control policies, and identity integrations. * VMware/Hyper-V operations: day-to-day management, upgrades, performance optimization, and high availability. * Backup and recovery ownership (for example Veeam) and basic DR procedures. * Advanced troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), documentation, and procedures writing. * Linux server management and support: provisioning, hardening, permissions, services, monitoring, and issue resolution. * Scripting and automation development and maintenance to improve operational efficiency (routine maintenance, monitoring, deployment, access management). * Network infrastructure support: LAN/WAN/VLAN/VPN, working with Cisco, Juniper, Fortigate, Palo Alto (or similar). * Infrastructure and network monitoring using PRTG, Zabbix, SolarWinds (or similar), and driving stability improvements. Mandatory Requirements * 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator in a mid-size to large organization (production environment). * Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, AD, GPO, DNS, and DHCP. * Significant experience managing Linux in production environments. * Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V). * Proven networking background: VLAN, VPN, routing and switching, and handling production incidents. * Practical experience with scripting and automation (for example PowerShell, Bash, Python). * Deep knowledge of DNS, RADIUS, and LDAP, including configuration, integrations, and troubleshooting. * Ability to work independently, with strong organization skills and a broad infrastructure-oriented mindset.
