The cost improvement technical platform is responsible for leading & executing all technological cost improvement projects in Biosense Webster HTC site . The team is specialized in identifying and executing Cost improvements opportunities across all of HTC’s platforms while maintaining a 3 year rolling plan of cost improvement projects pool. CIP HW Engineer will initiate & lead all Biosense Webster cost improvement projects pool from HW perspective including generating new HW design / Process change ideas through the different HW milestones till actual implementation by focusing on cost reduction of HTC products without affecting products’ functionality. Proactively seeks for cost improvement opportunities for both legacy and new products, through new technologies, processes, alternate suppliers and production improvement.Develop production support for systems, testers and tools derived from the CIP design change or process As part of this role, The CIP HW Engineer will be responsible for: Reducing the company costs by leading ,conduct and implementing all HW activities as part of the company cost improvement projects pool. • systems and tools: writes/ update Production & POD procedures ,Review / update BOMs (bill of materials) , Control the PLM system (Agile) and managing the ECO from HW perspective. Collaborate with the testers team for development / updating Jigs & fixtures to support the CIP design Designs new parts/systems Experience and education: Education/Training: BSc in Electrical Engineering or Practical Engineering /Electrical Technician with experience Experience: At least 3 years of experience in engineering in a R&D and mass production environment and electro mechanical industry ( Medical device is preferred ) Requirements: Good knowledge in reading electrical board design and mechanical drawings Experience, knowledge and ability in design changes of electronic boards , includes analytical ability in understanding electrical schematics.
