Maintenance & Infrastructure Manager Join Unilever Israel’s central manufacturing site and take the lead in driving maintenance excellence! Job Purpose: Full responsibility for managing the maintenance and infrastructure domain within the plant. This includes defining optimal maintenance strategies (corrective, preventive, scheduled), improving maintenance performance, reducing breakdowns, managing maintenance teams, integrating new equipment, and overseeing technical inventory policy using MRP systems. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage maintenance teams: maintenance engineers, infrastructure engineers, team leaders, electricians, and maintenance planning. * Ensure reliability of technical systems: production equipment, packaging, transportation, infrastructure, safety, and spare parts. * Manage new projects in construction and maintenance. * Develop and implement technical solutions to improve reliability and reduce maintenance costs. * Define and enforce procedures and work instructions, including safety and quality standards. * Manage technical inventory and spare parts availability. * Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, safety, and environmental requirements. * Conduct reliability analyses (EFMEA) during new equipment acquisition. * Plan and lead professional training for maintenance technicians. * Actively participate in HACCP teams, risk assessments, and safety committees. Requirements: * B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering – mandatory * Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the food industry or relevant process industry. * In-depth knowledge of mechanical equipment maintenance. * Proven experience in project management. * High proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking). * Strong understanding of instrumentation and industrial control systems. * Experience working with MRP systems. Interpersonal & Managerial Skills: * Strong leadership and team management capabilities. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills. * Process-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. * High level of accountability and problem-solving abilities.
