Position Overview PFF is seeking a part-time Community Manager. This role will help shape the voice of PFF across platforms, building meaningful connections with football fans and fostering vibrant online communities. The ideal candidate lives and breathes football and has a deep understanding of fantasy football, sports betting, and internet culture. They know how to engage authentically in digital spaces and thrive in fast-moving online conversations.This role is perfect for someone who is “chronically online,” fluent in football language, and eager to grow communities on platforms like Discord, Reddit, and Instagram. Responsibilities * Serve as a day-to-day community manager across Discord, Reddit, Instagram Broadcast, and other fan engagement platforms. * Monitor and respond to DMs, comments, and mentions promptly, ensuring timely fan engagement. * Spark and facilitate conversations with fans, positioning PFF as knowledgeable, approachable, and culturally relevant. * Grow and moderate PFF’s Discord server, Reddit, and IG Broadcast presence through posts, discussions, AMAs, and engagement-driven activities. * Surface community insights, fan feedback, and platform trends to the broader social team. * Stay on top of internet trends, memes, and football conversations, to identify opportunities for PFF to engage in real time. * Maintain PFF’s social voice while adapting tone appropriately for each platform and audience. Qualifications * Prior experience in social media or community management preferred. * Familiarity with Discord and Reddit required; experience moderating/managing servers or subreddits is a plus. * Strong understanding of football, social media trends, and internet culture. * Excellent written communication skills and ability to adapt tone across platforms. * Passion for football and a strong understanding of PFF’s brand and content * Organized, personable, and capable of managing multiple conversations and platforms simultaneously. * Flexible schedule to monitor and engage during peak football conversations, including weekends.
