As a Certification Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company's products meet rigorous certification standards. You will oversee the renewal of certifications for existing products, guide new product designs to comply with certification requirements, and work closely with certification labs both locally and internationally, to obtain certification approval within the allocated budget and schedule Responsibilities:
• Leading multiple technical certification and regulation programs.
• Planning, developing, and executing comprehensive certification programs for both existing and new products.
• Participating in R&D development phases to ensure that new products meet certification standards from the early stages.
• Leading the certification programs within the allocated budget and defined schedule.
• Working closely with certification labs to define requirements for each certification, ensuring successful evaluation on the first attempt.
• Keeping up to date with changes in standards and new standards.
• Participate in regulation and certification committees .
• Overseeing yearly maintenance procedures for certifications Authority: Report to company’s Hardware Director. Required Experience and Skills:
• BSc in electrical engineering.
• Experience as an RF engineer, with at least 2 years of experience as a certification team leader.
• Familiarity with EU regulatory compliance frameworks, including RED and CRA, is a strong advantage.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to improve efficiency in documentation, analysis, and project execution.
• Experience working with certification labs in Israel and abroad.
• Deep understanding of FCC, EC, UL, PTCRB, and preferably EN standards.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience interfacing with customers from international companies.
• Strong leadership capabilities.
• Proficient in English.
