Position: Buyers and Purchasing Agents Type: Independent Contractor Compensation: $65–$80/hour Location: Remote Duration: 6 weeks Commitment: 20–40 hours/week Role Responsibilities * Write tasks and scenarios reflecting real-world buying and purchasing work in manufacturing. * Create realistic situations involving vendor negotiations, purchase orders, supplier evaluation, and inventory management. * Develop scenarios for cost analysis, contract management, quality assurance, and supply chain coordination. * Review and evaluate AI responses to procurement queries for accuracy and industry standards. * Provide detailed feedback on manufacturing purchasing scenarios to improve AI training. * Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while advancing AI research. Qualifications Must-Have * 4+ years professional experience in a buying or purchasing role in manufacturing. * Demonstrated professional recognition and management responsibilities. * Proficient with using computers and navigating various software systems. * Excellent written communication with strong grammar and spelling skills. * Pass video interview, background check, training, and qualification quiz. Preferred * Average 14 years experience preferred. Start Date * Immediately Compensation & Legal * Hourly compensation, paid weekly via Stripe Connect. * Payments based on services rendered; contractors maintain full control over their work schedule and methods.
