BlackRover is Hiring: AI/ML Engineer (Computer Vision Expert | Multi-Modal AI | Advanced Video Analytics) We’re revolutionizing battlefield and HLS intelligence with AI that matters — tracking threats, identifying patterns, and saving lives through superior situational awareness. The Role You’ll join a team of AI/ML specialists, turning raw sensor data into actionable intelligence at a massive scale. Working alongside our Head of AI, you’ll architect and implement the core AI systems that power our platform. We Need Someone Who Can Ship Production AI at Scale:
– Build robust CV pipelines that work in challenging real-world conditions
– Deploy multi-modal AI systems (vision, language, sensor fusion)
– Master detection, tracking, ReID, and scene understanding Go Beyond Computer Vision:
– Implement RAG systems over massive video/text datasets
– Deploy LLMs/VLMs for intelligent scene interpretation
– Fuse multiple AI modalities into unified intelligence
– Build systems that understand context, not just pixels You Are
– MSc in CS/AI/EE with deep ML focus
– 5+ years in industry (not just research)
– Computer vision expert who also understands modern AI (LLMs, RAG, multi-modal)
– Builder mindset — you ship fast, iterate, and make things work
– Mission-driven — excited by defense/security applications Bonus Points
– Defense/security tech experience
– Published ML/CV research
– Open source AI contributions
– Experience with aerial/drone/thermal imagery
