Mertens – MalamTeam is hiring an Information Security Monitoring & Control Specialist Role Description We are looking for an Information Security Monitoring & Control Specialist to take ownership of defining and implementing security controls, with a strong focus on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and access control to sensitive information. The role includes investigating and handling security incidents, analyzing phishing and impersonation cases, and working closely with users and management to implement new controls and continuously improve security processes. Requirements * Experience working with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems * Strong technical orientation and self-learning capabilities * High-level written and verbal communication skills * Experience defining rules and controls in monitoring systems such as Splunk – significant advantage * Hands-on experience investigating phishing or impersonation incidents – significant advantage * Experience in event investigation, log analysis, and query writing – advantage A meaningful role in a leading organization, combining hands-on security work with real organizational impact.
