Data Center Technician | North District, Israel | 6 month contract | $400 p/day | Huge client Location: North District, Israel Duration: 6 month contract (very strong possibility of extension) Rate: $400p/day We're looking for a Data Center Technician to support the operations of our client's datacenter environments. Need: * You must be able to drive to Haifa, 5 days on site * Must be available for shift work, hours are: 9-6pm, 8-4pm and 4pm-12am Responsibilities: * Install, relocate, and decommission servers, switches, and related hardware. * Diagnose hardware issues and handle repairs, replacements (RMAs). * Monitor alerts from power, environment, and infrastructure systems. * Perform regular checks on HVAC, cabling, fire suppression, and power systems. * Coordinate maintenance and deployments with IT and facilities teams. * Maintain up-to-date inventory records using asset tools. * Perform cabling tasks: fiber/copper patching, labeling, and troubleshooting. * Assist with remote hands tasks and basic system setups. * Follow SOPs, safety protocols, and escalation procedures. * Log activities and incidents accurately in ticketing systems. Requirements: * 3+ years in a Data Center/NOC * Basic hardware knowledge (servers, networking, storage). * Familiarity with Windows/Linux and command-line basics. * Experience with rack/stack and power/cooling best practices. * Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
