A Civil Department based in Petah Tikva is hiring a Senior Software Architect a key role combining smart system design, real business impact, and hands on work with cutting edge technologies in live production environments. Join a strong architecture team and collaborate with DevOps, development leads, and cross functional teams to build systems at scale. What will you be doing? • Define system architecture, integration strategies, and technical roadmap with a fellow architect • Drive POCs from concept to deployment, minimizing risk and maximizing impact • Lead the design of complex distributed systems using Kubernetes, Java, Python, .NET Core, and .NET Framework • Write both high level and detailed design documentation • Promote best practices in architecture, scalability, and security • Work closely with DevOps, Backend, QA, and Frontend teams • Take part in design reviews, client sessions, and mentoring engineers ________________________________________ Must have qualifications: • 10+ years of experience in software development, including 5+ years in architecture roles • Proven experience working with Kubernetes in production environments • Strong hands on expertise with Kafka, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elastic Search • Proficiency in Java, Python, .NET Core, and .NET Framework • In depth understanding of microservices and distributed system design • Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, including on prem OpenShift environments • Excellent communication skills in both Hebrew and English, verbal and written including client facing discussions Advantage: • Experience in hybrid environments (on prem + cloud) • Previous involvement in client meetings, solution presentations, and translating technical requirements • Experience mentoring engineers and promoting engineering standards ________________________________________ Looking for a role with deep technical influence, ownership, and real world impact?
