The IAMAI team in SIRC is responsible for research, development, and in-depth analysis of algorithms in the field of image and video processing. Our goal is to make reliable algorithms, which improve the quality of images and videos taken by Samsung’s smartphone cameras, even at highly challenging conditions, such as extreme low-light. We leverage cutting-edge tools, including state-of-the-art deep neural networks and generative AI models. Work on the next generation of Samsung’s smartphone cameras to make its images and videos look better than ever before. Research and develop cutting edge algorithms in the field of Generative AI targeted for image/video generation. Your responsibilities will include: * In-depth exploration of both academic and industry-based solutions * Define, implement, test, train, and evaluate Generative AI schemes * Identification of the right figures of merits Requirements: * PhD Student in Math / CS / EE / Physics or related fields * Experience in Generative models (Diffusion Models, Flow Matching, etc.) * Experience with Python, PyTorch * >50% position expected, with high flexibility Advantages * Experience in Computer Vision and Image Processing * Experience with Linux * Experience in scientific writing *Applicants are asked to take special care to avoid sharing, using, or disclosing any trade secrets or confidential information belonging to their current or former employers, from the time they apply and throughout the entire recruitment process.
