• Develop and position AstraZeneca as a leader by building long
• term relationships with key pulmonologists and internists at targeted hospital accounts.
• Acquire superior product and disease state knowledge to effectively educate healthcare professionals about clinical evidence, approved indications, product efficacy, and safety profiles for on
• label prescribing.
• Maintain in
• depth knowledge of market, demographic, and managed care information relevant to your sales territory.
• Provide special education to healthcare providers through programs that adhere to AstraZeneca's ethical guidelines.
• Utilize promotional resources and analytical tools to evaluate business needs and maximize effectiveness in your sales territory.
• Collaborate with your Sales Manager and AZ team members to develop local strategies and business plans for Key Accounts, driving sales performance and exceeding therapeutic and territory goals.
• Complete all training requirements, including product examinations, and capitalize on formulary approvals through effective implementation of the Strategic Targeting Plan.
• Work with other Respiratory team members to achieve common objectives and coordinated selling efforts.
• Operate within the framework of AstraZeneca’s Company Values. Essential Skills/Experience
• At least 3 years of documented, full
• time, successful pharmaceutical sales experience
• Experience in working at hospitals accounts with specialist physicians
• Strong clinical skill, and sales ability
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Skills at building and maintaining professional relationships with key customers, office staff, and others in the customer influence network
• A valid driver's license and safe driving record Desirable Skills/Experience
• Demonstrate agility in dynamic environment
• Experience working with biologic medicines
• Experience in pulmonology and/or internal medicine field
