Lycored’s global footprint includes production sites, toll manufacturers, and suppliers across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. The Role We are looking for an experienced, strategic, and hands-on Global Procurement Manager to lead Lycored’s global sourcing and procurement activities. This role is critical to ensuring supply continuity, cost competitiveness, quality, and compliance across a complex global manufacturing and R&D ecosystem. The successful candidate will act as a key business partner to Operations, R&D, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain, and will have direct impact on Lycored’s cost structure, risk management, and long-term growth. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage global Direct and Indirect procurement across raw materials, packaging, and subcontracted manufacturing services. * Own strategic sourcing and supplier strategy, including cost reduction, dual sourcing, risk mitigation, and long-term supply security. * Manage commercial negotiations and contracts with global suppliers, toll manufacturers, and subcontractors. * Oversee the full supplier lifecycle: qualification, agreements, performance management, quality events, complaints, and documentation. * Coordinate and support global supplier audits, in close collaboration with Quality Assurance and group functions. * Identify, qualify, and approve new suppliers, raw materials, and packaging solutions, working closely with Supplier Quality. * Ensure compliance with regulatory and sustainability requirements, including RSPO material tracking and reporting to TAMAR and Health authorities. * Lead and develop the procurement team, 3 team members, including local procurement resources in Israel and China. * Act as a key contributor to cross-functional initiatives, including new product introductions, technology transfers, and capacity expansion projects. What We’re Looking For Experience & Background * Proven experience leading global strategic procurement in a food, chemical, pharmaceutical, or biotech environment. * Strong commercial mindset with deep understanding of markets, suppliers, pricing dynamics, and cost drivers. * Demonstrated success in complex negotiations, framework agreements, and strategic supplier partnerships. * Experience working in regulated environments and with global supply chains and toll manufacturers. * Accountable for all import activities, including coordination with customs authorities, compliance with Israeli regulations, import documentation, and collaboration with logistics and regulatory teams. * Required to be physically present at the Beer Sheva office at least three days per week, to ensure close collaboration with Operations, Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain teams. Education * Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. * MBA or advanced business degree – an advantage. Skills & Competencies * Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills. * Strong analytical, financial, and risk-management capabilities. * High level of English proficiency (written and verbal).
