• time: 20h/wk Summary of duties: The undergraduate student research assistant will work on an internally funded project related to examining the effects of tobacco use behaviors and respiratory health under the supervision of faculty member Dr. Alayna Tackett. Functions as a Student Research Assistant providing research lab support in the Center for Tobacco Research, Department of Internal Medicine; under direct supervision, assists with collecting, compiling and analyzing research data; assists with generating reports and writing manuscripts; arranges, cleans, and/or tests research or lab equipment; provides assistance in performing tests or investigations using research equipment; performs other assistance in support of a research program; assists with maintaining research supply inventory and orders supplies as needed; picks up, sorts, and distributes mail; make copies and files; run errands.
