De Business Unit Global Sales, het Leading Application Center, is verantwoordelijk voor advies aan OEM-klanten en Dealers en is voor al onze producten de verkoop binnendienst voor de verkoopkantoren van de KSB-Moederorganisatie wereldwijd. WERKEN ALS SALES ENGINEER “Met jouw ideeën en proactieve marktbenadering weet je de ondersteuning van onze collega’s en klanten persoonlijk en vanzelfsprekend te maken en de afzet binnen jouw business-kanaal wereldwijd een boost te geven.” Wij ontwikkelen, produceren en verkopen pompen en pompinstallaties vanuit een moderne fabriek in Alphen aan den Rijn. Vanuit die expertise zijn wij het kenniscentrum voor centrifugaalpompen en drukverhogingsinstallaties van de Duitse multinational KSB; één van de grootste pompenfabrikanten ter wereld. Het is onze kracht van flexibiliteit, technische kennis en persoonlijke ondersteuning waardoor we klanten wereldwijd aan ons kunnen binden. En dat bereik je alleen maar door samen te werken, daarom werken wij per klant- /productgroep met een eigen Business Supporter. In deze functie werk je nauw samen met onze KSB-collega’s en klanten en ben je internationaal verantwoordelijk voor alle verkoopondersteunende activiteiten binnen jouw productgebied; van technisch advies tot de ontwikkeling van verkooptools. Als technisch Business Supporter ben jij voor onze verkoopkanalen, collega’s in het buitenland en eindgebruikers in de industrie (OEM), de directe link naar onze fabriek. Jij bent hun persoonlijke aanspreekpunt waarop ze kunnen vertrouwen voor een goed onderbouwd technisch advies, een goede samenwerking bij grote aanbestedingen, projectopnames en het coördineren van de technische vertaling van al hun uitdagende product specificaties. Daarnaast ben je voor onze organisatie de voelsprieten in de markt en analyseer je met welke tools en aanpak wij samen met onze klanten en collega’s de afzetkanalen verder kunnen ontwikkelen. Dit maakt jou niet alleen een spil in het salesproces, maar ook een belangrijke schakel in de realisatie van onze groeistrategie. Wat ga je doen als technisch Business Supporter? Je houdt je voornamelijk bezig met de operationele activiteiten om de verkoopkantoren optimaal te ondersteunen, zodat zij de klanten in hun markt met een goed advies kunnen overtuigen van onze producten. Dat doe je door veel contact te houden met de collega’s van de lokale vestigingen over de hele wereld én met OEM-eindklanten. Je geeft technisch advies, weet wat er in de markten speelt, brengt ze de techniek en mogelijkheden van onze producten bij, zorgt voor een goede calculatie van offerteaanvragen en denkt commercieel en dienstverlenend mee. Wat nog meer? * Het analyseren van het commercieel belang van opdrachten die buiten de standaard vallen; * Het signaleren en registeren van wensen vanuit de markt; * In samenwerking met de afdeling Product Development, IT of Datamanagement tools ontwikkelen die het werk van collega’s en klanten makkelijker maken en productkennis vergroten; * Als expert in jouw productgebied verzamel je marktinput en zet deze in; * Het herkennen van commerciële kansen en hierop inspelen. Daarnaast ontvang je KSB-collega’s voor trainingen en kennismaking met onze producten. Om ervoor te zorgen dat jouw (product)kennis up-to-date is en blijft, worden er regelmatig producttrainingen georganiseerd in onze eigen pump academie, bieden wij diverse e-learning modules aan en de mogelijkheid tot (internationale) job rotaties.
