We are looking for a Bookkeeper & Payroll Accountant to join our finance team. This position combines payroll management, bookkeeping, and financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with Israeli regulations. Responsibilities: * Full ownership of payroll preparation- (Collect and update data into the payroll system, perform validation, and make payments). * Preference for experience with Michpal or Hilan systems. The role includes leading the implementation of our payroll system for the first time. * Establish bookkeeping at Pazu
– Support implementation of financial systems (Priority – advantage). * Manage payments to international consultants and oversee the process (via invoices). * Oversee pension and employee benefits processes. * Handle vendor payments (local & global), supplier contracts, and monthly expense tracking. * Issue customer invoices and support monthly and annual financial closings. * Communicate with tax authorities (VAT, Income Tax, and Social Security). Requirements: * 4+ years of bookkeeping experience (preferably in high-tech or global companies). * Certified Bookkeeper – Level 2 required (Level 3 advantage). * Certified Payroll Accountant – required. * Strong English and Excel skills. * Deep knowledge of Israeli payroll rules. * Reliable, Excellent communication, detail-oriented, organized, and a strong team player. * Strong verbal and written English skills * 80% position, on-site in Yokneam.
